We’re Lemonsucker Games, a small games outfit located Palo Alto, California. We focus on creating small interactive experiences with big heart. The Average Everyday Adventures of Samantha Browne is the first offering by Lemonsucker Games. We’re a three-headed beast currently staffed by Andrea Ayres Deets, Charlie Deets, and their cat.
Andrea Ayres Deets
After several years of writing for personal enjoyment, Andrea enrolled in a Master’s program at the University of Warwick in 2011 for Creative Writing. When she returned to the U.S., she began writing for online publications such as The Next Web, Mic, Kill Screen, Unwinnable, The Awl and more.
To be more involved in the video game industry in 2014 she took up a mentorship with Brian Crecente (Polygon) and started writing for IEP, an organization that helps educate people in the gaming industry. She is incredibly excited to be crafting games and game stories.
During the day, Charlie is Product Designer at Facebook. At night, he plays games and makes games with his wife. He has released a few other mystical apps such as MOON and Tao Daily in the App Store. You can find Charlie on any gaming service as gargarbot. Charlie also loves coffee and it gives him incredible anxiety on a daily basis.
Locutus goes by many names including: Octagon, Matthew, and Cat Friend. He drools sometimes, snores always, and is generally not helpful. We keep him on staff for morale support. He is paid in cat food and ear scritchies.
